Graphic Designer

The graphic designer works as part of the marketing team and contributes to the growth of the firm.

Desired Location:

Washington, DC; Houston, Texas; Austin, Texas; or San Antonio, Texas

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop graphic content for bid/proposal related deliverables
  • Create, coordinate, and update proposal and presentation materials and templates
  • Develop presentations and marketing materials that include advertisements, brochures, marketing collateral, presentations, logos, digital newsletters, posters, reports, invitations and event materials
  • Photograph in-progress and completed projects, events, and personnel
  • Provide graphic support for client-focused campaigns and events
  • Assist in the maintenance of the website
  • Maintain graphic standards for safety signage and maintain online signage portal
  • Assist in maintenance of online apparel store
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for printing and product production and review vendor proofs
  • Assist in the maintenance of the marketing CRM (Cosential)
  • Maintain and implement brand guidelines

Position Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, handling multiple simultaneous projects with stringent deadlines
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills; must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy on all phases of the design process
  • Ability to effectively present ideas—both verbally and visually
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment
