The Awty International School Student Center dramatically reshapes the existing campus serving 1400 students in grades 2 – 12 in Houston, Texas.
Books-A-Million
The Books-A-Million store is designed with an industrial warehouse theme. The structure is exposed and a custom Gordon, Inc. metal ceiling is utilized to hide ductwork and house the electrical fixtures. The grand stair consists of stainless steel railings and ablue LED lighting system on the underside. The store also has a Joe Muggs coffee store housed within. One of the most challenging parts of this project was coordinating the twenty plus out of state vendors and subcontractors that were specified by Books-A-Million.
