Fredericksburg VA
The Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic is a four story, 434,000 square foot medical center for the VA and Department of Defense.
Construction of a new tilt-wall government office building on a 14-acre site with landscaping and parking lots surrounding the building on all sides
The building was comprised of three separate floor plates all joined at the level two elevation. The South Building is a three-story office building, the North Building is a two-story office building, and the Annex is a one-story multi-purpose building. The South Building slab on grade is 15 ft. lower than the slab on grade for the North Building and the Annex. The site slopes over 50 ft. from the front to the back of the property. There are multiple 20 ft. retaining walls on-site, and a retention pond system was incorporated to help maintain the water shed from the nearby roadways.
