Greenstreet Lobby

Repositioning of the 1201 Fannin main lobby. The project consisted of the demolition of three floors of existing lobby/tenant space, removal of a three level connecting stair, relocating the opening for a new three level connecting stair, demolition of existing sitework, front, and rear of the building, and demolition of the existing curtainwall system. Demolition was complicated by the fact that the facility operated within the Greenstreet development, which consists of retail, office, and a functioning hotel. All site demolition and skin modifications had to take place after hours and on weekends. The remodel included the addition of two three stop elevators, the installation of a new wood clad grand stair connecting levels one, two, and three, glass railings, oil rubbed metal panels, and wood cladding along with renovations of the existing restrooms. To complete the project, a state-of-the-art A/V system was installed along with a new grand entrance and new landscaping.
