Igloo Products was a design/build project for USAA Real Estate, Igloo Products and Core Real Estate to construct a Class A distribution, warehouse, and manufacturing facility with an office building for Houston-based Igloo Products. Igloo had a need to combine their corporate office/manufacturing plant located at Beltway 8 and Interstate 10 with the manufacturing/distribution facility in Katy, Texas. The new facility built adjacent to their existing facility in Katy was set on a 50-acre site totaling approximately 915,000 SF of total building space including a new wastewater treatment plant and upgraded domestic water system. The project was a fast-track design/build project with construction lasting a total of 12 months. The project consultants worked directly with Harvey and we were contracted directly with USAA Real Estate.
