Growing up in a new housing development, Joe became interested in the construction industry at a young age. After graduating with a degree in Architectural Engineering, Joe entered the construction industry and continued his pursuit of knowledge by learning from trade foremen and seasoned professionals in the field. Joe has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and oversees our corporate interiors department and operations in Washington, DC. He has worked on many high-end interior projects, including law firms, corporate associations and large-scale government projects.  

Joe is a key player in our corporate training program and is passionate about sharing his knowledge to train, grow, and develop others in their careers. Joe is also actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, the Executive Leadership Committee for the March for Babies, Vice President for The LIDO Civic Association, the Membership Committee for the ABC-Metro DC Chapter and our internal Corporate Training Committee. 

Joe and his wife of over 32 years have three children and enjoy vacationing in North Carolina. In his free time, Joe coaches a youth football team and enjoys playing golf, exercising and spending time at the beach.  

What’s the best advice Joe can give someone?

“Control the things you can control. Work hard and learn every aspect of this business that you can. Ask questions and be open to learning. Never settle, as there’s no right way to the wrong thing. If you wouldn’t accept it in your own home, don’t leave it that way for your client. Keep evolving as this industry continues to evolve because if you don’t, you will not grow. Work to grow the careers of others, knowing that they’re your future. And lastly, when the opportunity presents itself for you to step up, take the chance, bet on yourself and seize the opportunity.”
