1001 McKinney

1001 McKinney is a building repositioning project with exterior and interior renovations. This project aimed to update the landmark building’s public areas while maintaining its historic qualities. Challenging aspects include the new front canopy, new clear glass entrance, new finishes in the tunnel system, new Finishes in the building lobby, conference center for tenant use and new finishes at the Level 5 Garage Entrance. Hines and Abel Design Group worked alongside Harvey Cleary to capture the design team’s vision while working with unique conditions. Site coordination was essential in marrying this older structure with the new finishes.
