HEB | Favor

HEB | Favor (Eastside Tech Hub) is a 81,000 SF tech office addition/renovation to an old recycling warehouse in East Austin. The project was awarded “Austin’s Coolest New Office” by the Austin Business Journal in 2019. This office is home to H-E-B Digital Partners (employees) as well as the headquarters for Favor. The space is a two-story (mezzanine), open office concept offering work areas throughout the floor plan, including over 50 meeting rooms equipped with video conferencing capabilities. This unique office offers amenities such as a coffee bar, lounge areas, quiet area (library), hidden rooms, amphitheater for events, a rock-climbing wall, bike parking, and showers. There were many challenges along with way, material lead times, coordination, and the added mezzanines for the HVAC units were overcome, for an overall project duration of 7 months. The workspace brings together the identities of both H-E-B and Favor with the interior design focused on Texas roots (both companies being Texas-based companies).
