Urban Mining

This 131,000 SF state-of-the-art rare earth magnet manufacturing facility recycles Neodymium-based magnets to make new ones. Their customers include Siemens, Rolls Royce, Parker Hannifin, and the Department of Defense, to name a few. Urban Mining was named a “2019 Change the World List: Companies to Watch” by Fortune Magazine. The facility sits on 10 acres of development within the San Marcos city limits. In addition to standard Owner representation associated with permitting, design and construction, Matador’s role included coordinating and scheduling the extensive list of procured manufacturing equipment worldwide.
