Waste Management Atascocita Campus

This campus project includes a 60,000 SF maintenance building, a 40,000 SF container building, and occupies a 30-acre brownfield site. Key features of the site are a wet-bottom retention pond and a 160-truck compressed natural gas fueling system.

The maintenance building is 60,000 SF, featuring an 18,000 SF two-story office and administration area. The 42,000 SF maintenance shop is fully air-conditioned and equipped with an infrared heating system, two overhead cranes, and a variety of fluid systems, including antifreeze, automatic transmission fluid, engine oil, gear oil, and a hydraulic hose reel. Additional systems include a shop compressed air system, a truck exhaust hose reel system, and a gas detection system. A pull-through commercial truck wash with a pressure-washer station is also included, along with two separate locker rooms with showers. The office space is designed with glass front systems and standard office layouts.

The 40,000 SF container building is entirely air-conditioned, featuring 100% makeup air, an overhead crane, an industrial paint booth, an industrial sand blasting station, welding stations with exhaust systems, and a locker room with showers.
