The KBR Downtown Consolidation project consists of the interior renovation of 26 floors in two buildings. 500 Jefferson totaled 18,850 SF on eight levels and ranged in scope from full demolition and build-back to cosmetic upgrades. Across the street, in 601 Jefferson, 18–levels, each 23,020 SF were completely renovated. The features of this project included: full demolition, work in data center areas, restroom renovations, addition of fire sprinkler systems, demountable partitions (by Agile OFIS), modular furniture (by Blue Wave Modular Systems), new galley/break areas, addition of two monument signs, and basement upgrades providing a location for expansion of KBR repro services. In addition to the 500 and 601 Jefferson renovations, the project at 1080 Eldridge ran concurrently as part of the consolidation project.
