Trafigura

This project consists of a 30,000 SF high-end trade floor. With unique features and an extra tight schedule, Rottet Studio’s white-washed design was successfully and beautifully executed. 

As is to be expected on a trading floor, technology was not lacking and spanned the entirety of half of Level 17 in the noteworthy 5 Houston Center building. A custom, state-of-the-art demountable wall system was installed throughout the space which was equipped with remote access sliding doors. The double-paned glass incorporated in this system enabled acoustical privacy for the five conference rooms, large boardroom, numerous meeting rooms and private offices. This system created sleek, clean lines throughout the entire space, creating the perfect uniform look. The use of an engineered European white oak flooring, wood veneer panels in the elevator lobby, strategic lighting, fabric wallcoverings, and stretched fabric ceilings added sophistication and the finishing touches to the space.
