The Watermark at Houston Heights, also known as Heights Senior Living, is a seven-story 220-unit facility including a mix of senior living, assisted living, and memory care residences. Totaling 350,000 SF, the building features a wide range of amenities, including several dining options, Wellness Center, Fitness Center, Salon, and other activity spaces for its residents. The building surrounds an outdoor courtyard on level two, providing a heated pool, putting green, and several outdoor lounge spaces. An outdoor terrace on level seven offers unobstructed views of Houston’s Downtown skyline along with views of the Galleria/Uptown district.

The project broke ground the same week the City of Houston issued a “Stay Home, Work Safe” mandate in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The manpower, additional safety measures, and supply chain hurdle that the pandemic presented were compounded by a very aggressive schedule. The dedication and creative problem-solving exhibited throughout the project allowed for an on-time delivery of the project despite the challenges faced.
