Memorial Hermann Woodlands POB Imaging and Surgery Centers

This 18,300 SF surgical center was completed with six operating rooms, sterile processing, sterile stores, physician lounge, ten pre-operation beds, eight PACU recovery beds, Pre-Admit Testing (PAT), business office and reception. Harvey managed the project supervision on-site, provided full-time laborers for clean-up, formed and poured concrete pads for equipment, and constructed building entrance gates and landings to comprise approximately 6.5 percent self-performed work on the project. The project included extensive equipment coordination to verify and often modify contract drawing scope to fit that of the equipment vendors' needs. The equipment coordinated (and in many cases installed) included sterilizers, steam generator, surgical lights, surgical columns, washer/sanitizers, anesthesia machines, CRT patient monitors, nurse call and the voice/data systems.
