The project is situated on a 3.45-acre site, consisting of two four-story office buildings, a future restaurant buildout on level 1 of Building A, and a six-story precast parking garage.
The project includes the installation of a 34 MW aeroderivative GE LM2500+G4 gas turbine generator, a 200,000 pound per hour heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), a 11 MW back-pressure steam turbine generator, a 30,000 pound per hour boiler, control room renovations, installation of pressure reducing stations, and the associated balance of plant auxiliary equipment. In addition, the project consists of installing approximately two miles of 4-foot by 6-foot electrical and communication duct banks through the heart of campus via open trenching and directional boring. All work was closely coordinated with the University to minimize impact to the campus.
